Ride to the top of the Avicii Arena

With SkyView you can ride to the top of the largest spherical building in Europe inside a glass gondola. At the top of the building you will have a 360-degree view over Stockholm, with the city centre to the north and the greater city all around you. The top of the building sits at 130 metres above sea level, making it of similar height to the London Eye.

The creation of SkyView was part of a significant transformation of the Avicii Arena. Which included reinforcement with 42 metric tonnes of steel and an extra 70 tonnes of rails placed on the exterior of the building. The glass gondolas were designed by a Swedish ski lift manufacturer, specifically for this great attraction in Stockholm.

Your visit to SkyView starts with a short video introduction, telling you more about the experience, its construction and the Avicii Arena. Afterwards, you step into one of two gondolas that ride up and down the west side of the globe. Each gondola can hold a maximum of 12 people so that all can enjoy the views over the city.

    Wow, this was such a fun experience! Perfect way to see all of Stockholm. If you get a clear day, it’s just breathtaking. I’d do it again for sure!

    SkyView was unreal! The views from the top are just stunning. It was a little nerve-wracking at first, but totally worth it. The ride is smooth and the gondola felt super safe. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Stockholm!
