We were really looking forward to this and it didn’t disappoint. There was a lot to see and interactive elements too. Loads to read and the audioguide was good too. As a long time ABBA fan, this visit was highly anticipated, and well worth it! I do recommend buying tickets in advance if you want to visit during a specific time. The museum is set up chronologically, starting with the pre-ABBA solo days, and concluding with an after-ABBA section. Also, be careful in the gift shop,
The museum is wonderful and very interestingly designed. It gives a great insight into the fascinating career of the group and the lives of its members. On Djurgården, ABBA The Museum tells the story of the most successful pop group Sweden has produced, through original costumes, instruments, gold discs and the recreated Polar Studios control room.
It is interactive by design: sing on stage with holographic band members, mix a track, or step into the video booth. Cheerfully unserious and very well made.
