Boat tour through the canal of Amsterdam! Worth to do but the boat got pretty full quick. Depending on where you were able to find a seat, you had some good views..
An affordable boat cruise which costs about €16 and lasts about an hour. An audio guide is available in many languages.
Board at Leidsekade, a few steps from Leidseplein and the city’s theatre and nightlife quarter, and set off through the grandest stretch of the canal ring. The route takes in the Golden Bend of the Herengracht, where Amsterdam’s wealthiest merchants built their finest houses.
An hour on the water is enough to understand how the city was planned: four concentric canals dug in the seventeenth century, still lined with the warehouses and mansions of the Dutch Golden Age.
