Heineken’s first brewery still stands in the heart of Amsterdam. When they stopped brewing here they turned the building into a unique brand experience, that is a must-do for any beer lover. Of course you can taste the brew for yourself, two beers are included in your visit, but there is much more to do here.

You will learn about the story of Heineken, how it started in 1864, how the company became a global phenomenon, and of course how the beer is made. There are also lots of interactive exhibits to try out. You can make your own beer label and discover the best way to taste and enjoy your Heineken beer.

Visit the Arctic in the heart of Amsterdam

The freezing Amsterdam Icebar is one of the most unique locations in the city and definitely the coolest bar in town. There are in fact two bars inside; the first is a nice and warm pub, while the second is a frozen wonder. In the ice bar, you will be surrounded by ice where ever you look, from the walls to the glasses that your drinks are served in, as it represents the frozen island where Dutch explorer Willem Barentsz got stranded in 1596.

Your ticket will include 1 drink in the pub and 2 drinks in the ice bar. Of course, a Heineken beer is among your options at both bars. In the pub, your other options include cocktails and shots, while in the ice bar you can also choose shots or enjoy some orange juice if you need some vitamins to survive the freezing cold.
