What a fun few hours! There’s so much to learn, see, and even interact with—especially with all the great photo opportunities. We spent about an hour and a half there but could have easily stayed longer. It’s spread over four floors, so there’s plenty to explore. There are also lifts available, which is really helpful
A totally cool and unique museum, unlike any others we've seen. Definitely worth a visit! My only complaint is the extra charges for certain attractions inside. While they aren't mandatory, considering the initial ticket price, it felt a bit unfair.
This place is full of unusual, surprising, and historically interesting things! If you have an open mind, you might believe some of it — or not — but you will definitely learn something new. On Dam Square, opposite the Royal Palace, Ripley’s collects the strange, the record-breaking and the genuinely hard to believe across several floors. Shrunken heads, optical illusions, oversized replicas and interactive rooms sit side by side.
It is deliberately unserious and works particularly well with children and teenagers, or as an hour indoors when Amsterdam’s weather turns.
Entry
Please arrive at the entrance a few minutes before your chosen time slot. Last admission is shortly before closing.
Tickets
Your ticket is digital and can be shown on your phone at the door. There is no need to print anything.
Children
Reduced child rates apply. Younger children may enter free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult.
Good to know
Allow extra time at weekends and during school holidays, when the venue is at its busiest.
