An interesting museum featuring the life of Van Gogh. I came here with only general knowledge of Van Gogh and learned a lot from the audio guide. I didn't know the reason he did so many self portraits was because he was too poor to hire models. Van Gogh's relationship with his brother was my biggest takeaway from this
We had a very enjoyable two-hour visit to the Van Gogh Museum. We booked our tickets one day in advance, which worked smoothly. I would recommend arriving on time for your reserved slot. Sunflowers, The Bedroom and Almond Blossom hang here, alongside work by contemporaries who shaped him. Booking a timed entry ticket is essential — this is one of the busiest museums in the Netherlands.
